AT the November meeting Marion welcomed members and county adviser Maureen Davies, this being the 68th AGM.

The minutes of the 2021 AGM were read approved and signed, There were no matters arising.

As the committee consisting of nine members were prepared to stand again and no other member wished to join them they were duly re-elected. They were Celia Bond, Carol Davies, Jill Garwood, Jean Jackson, Gill Lewis, Marion Little, Margaret Morris, Debbie Roberts and Sandra Seward.

The election of president then took place which saw Marion retain that position. Margaret thanked members with the administra­tion of the MCS data base and general cooperatio­n.

Sandra presented the financial report which was duly accepted and signed. Marion thanked all the members for their support during the last year and felt the second social meeting each month at various venues had been successful.

Apologies for absence were received from Celia, Gill, Eluned, Wilma and Lilian. Our good wishes were sent to Lilian for a speedy recovery. The tree celebratio­n at Aberglasne­y had been enjoyed and the Special Lunch to take place in

St Peter’s Hall on November 18 anticipate­d. Sandra distribute­d copies of the Autumn County Magazine to everyone.

Maureen read the County Newsletter highlighti­ng a number of events. Sandra advised the membership that as Gwenllian Group convenor that there would be no Autumn Group Meeting this year. Marion stated there were plans afoot for the Spring Group Meeting which would be hosted by Llanddarog on Thursday, March 23.

Members were reminded to bring their own supper because of dietary requiremen­ts to the next meeting a Christmas celebratio­n.
