Pair clinch final berths

A FIELD of 34 players took part in Carmarthen and District Men’s Winter Darts League’s Adrian Davies Double-in, Double-out KO at the Gremlin Club.

The competition ran smoothly and some excellent darts were thrown.

In the quarter-finals Mike Sizer knocked out Simon Davies and Chris Pither lost to Chris Jenkins. Richard Jupp and Alan Lewis also reached the last four.

Both semi-finals were close affairs, with Lewis winning the deciding leg for a 3-2 success over last year’s runner-up Sizer and Jupp seeing off Jenkins 3-1.

The final will take place on Finals Night in April.

Richard Jupp hit a 180, threw 17 and 18-dart legs and made starts of 149 and 105.

Chris Jenkins threw two 17dart legs and had a 100 start.

Dylan Stone threw a maximum and had outs of 111 and 105.

Andrew Langley had a 120 start, Dorian Bowen threw two 105s to start and Sean Connolly also had a 105 start.
