On-song Drefach prove to be seven wonders in superb show
DREFACH Under-14s maintained their fine run of form with a 7-0 win against Pontarddulais.
Both keepers used by Drefach – Logan Jones and Daniel Davies – kept clean sheets, while at the other end of the field the attack functioned superbly. Elliot Morgan, Iwan Bull and Ryan Roberts were excellent, with Roberts putting away two crosses with his head.
The midfield of Dylan Rhys, Lewis Thomas and Jayden Davies challenged for everything and were the main source of attacks.
Centre-backs Tomos Bull, Charlie Thomas and AJ Perry were solid, with wing-backs Harri Thomas, Owain Jones and James Thomas looking to attack at every opportunity.
Rhys fired in two almost identical long-range efforts, while Davies also scored from distance.
A deflection off an Iwan Bull shot saw Drefach go six up and Owain Jones moved up front and was rewarded when he fired home the seventh goal.
