Croatian giant for Polish angler

Carpworld - - ECHOES -

Croatia is one of the main countries in the world these days for producing very large carp and while Lake Sumbar gets most of the headlines it was another water this time that came up with the goods! Unfortunately, the captor wasn’t willing to give the name of the venue away, but Polish angler, Patryk Lar, caught this huge common carp weighing 40.65 kg (89lb 10oz)! It is the second largest carp caught by a Pole abroad. The record belongs to Marcin Mizera, who in 2014 at Rainbow Lake caught a carp weighing 41.3 kg. However, in 2012, Jaroslaw Dabrowski also caught a 40.01 kg common carp from a German gravel pit.
