Chris Chambers, from Edinburgh in Scotland, took a last minute booking for the ‘14 Nights with Nine Days of Fishing’ special. Chris was straight into the action with the Giant Siamese Carp and Amazon Redtails to well over 100lb, so was very happy. Henrik also visited for few days with his family and had some really nice fish. His family enjoyed the time at the resort, using the swimming pool and other facilities, whilst Henrik and his two sons were fishing for the monsters. The boilies are working well with lots of Giant Siamese Carp landed and a very large Ripsaw Catfish that also liked them. The jewel of the week though was a Julians Golden Carp at 45lb which are like UK commons but much more colourful. They go like trains too. Thirty more Julians Golden Carp have been recently stocked to increase the chance of hooking one. Roman and Peter, from Slovakia, travelled to Koh Samui to target the Arapaima. They said it would make their holiday dreams come true and asked what were the chances? They were told the fish would be feeding, but they are difficult to hook and land. They fished in the special Arapaima swim, and this paid off big time. Both landed fish of over 200lb, plus a selection of other fish, including Amazon Redtails. Two very happy lads will now be back next year for more action. Topcats is stocked with over 150 Arapaima weighing up to 380lb – with the only dedicated Arapaima swim in Thailand. If you fancy it, it is available for as little as five hours! When time is limited and you really need that trophy shot, give this one a try.
