Les Lacs du Verger, formerly known as the Willow and Orchard Lakes which was operated by Jeff Powell, the founder of JRC, and his wife, Lisa, is a well-established and very popular fishery set in the Champagne region in north east France, near to the market town of Vitry le Francois, and just 3½ hours from Calais.

The current owner, Marcus Wetzl, is selling the business, which is registered in both England and France, as a whole. This will permit the buyer to inherit a turnkey operation that includes a 3-berth mobile home, a quad bike and trailers, ride-on mower, a Ford Mondeo estate car and even a substantial quantity of fishing tackle that would be available for hire.

The business currently generates between £60-70,000 per annum and is fully booked for the 2019 season, with 75% of

2020’s vacancies already taken too. The property, assets, fish stocks and goodwill of the business have been valued at £400,000. Please contact Marcus via email: Mar[email protected]pagnecarping.com
