Ton-up at Euro Aqua for Luke Vanes

Luke Vanes is definitely having the time of his life just lately! At the end of October he joined his friend, Luke Edwards, at Parco Del Brenta, in Italy. After coming out first in the draw, he opted to fish swim 17, where he had several good fish to over 50lb. But that was only part one of his continental trip, as after that week, he moved on to Euro Aqua, the world-record venue in Hungary. After a slow start, Luke got things underway with a superb 69lb mirror, but he could never have guessed what was just around the corner, as his next bite produced an absolutely monstrous mirror of 102lb! At the time of writing this, Luke had literally only just returned the fish and he still has several days of the trip left, so no doubt he will add to the tally, although it’s very unlikely that he will top that weight! The fish was caught on Euro Aqua’s own Aqua Diamond boilies.
