People all around me began to scream

The orange glow of fires flickered, the chanting of witches echoed through the dark trees. All around me, eyes glittered through slits in masks.

People in dark robes watched as two witches lifted me onto a rock in the ancient stone circle in a clearing deep in the New Forest.

I was just 11 years old – and about to perform a rite that would make me the High Priest of an ancient coven of witches.

It was the summer solstice, and hundreds of witches were gathered in the glade, watching as the ceremony was performed.

I wanted to show the other witches in the coven just how powerful I was. So standing on the ceremonial stones, I performed an ancient incantation. It Itwasaritualtosummonthe was a ritual to summon the Devil himself.

Crimsoneyes

The acrid stench of burning blood filled my nostrils as he materialized a few feet away from me.

Nine feet tall, with horns sprouting from his head, dark fire swirled in the depths of his huge, monstrous body. He glowered at me through gleaming crimson eyes.

For a few seconds, there was horrified silence. Then the screaming began.

All around me, witches were running for their lives as the Devil grabbed terrified onlookers, tossed them up into the air as if the were dolls.

If I didn’t do something, people would be killed…

Ifididn’tdo something,people wouldbekilled…

‘It’s time to act,’ I told myself.

Chanting sacred incantations of protection, I walked towards the Devil.

I jabbed my hands into the pockets of my robes, felt the salt I’d put there earlier. I threw two handfuls of salt straight into his face. Then I raised my hand, touched him on his hip. There was an explosion of fire and smoke. The force of the blast hurled me through the air. I landed with a crash 12 feet away.

Backtohell

The little finger of my right hand was broken where I’d landed on it, my legs were badly blistered and burned. But all that mattered was that the Devil had gone back to Hell.

He’d been no match for me. Laughing, I got to my feet. All around me, the witches of the coven bowed down low. Ômaster,’ they chanted. Now, looking back, I realise I learned a valuable lesson that night. My encounter with the Devil taught me that you should never take powerful forces of evil lightly.

But I was young and fearless, wanted to prove to the other witches in the coven that I was worthy of being their leader.

As the most powerful witch in the coven, it had been my duty to save the others.

And truth be told, I’d enjoyed battling with the Devil. I was never scared, always knew I was in control.

I’m still the High Priest of the coven, which is over 4,000 years old, has more than 2.4 million members worldwide.

Magicalchildhood

Growing up, I lived with my family of witches in a wooden cottage deep in the New Forest. My grandmother, Margaret Murray, was an anthropologist, Egyptologist, archeologist and folklorist who's known as 'the Grandmother of Wicca.' It’s fair to say I had an unconventional upbringing!

I help those who've been possessed

When other kids my age were playing computer games, I was honing my magic skills. I performed my first spell at the age of one when I summoned our Irish wolfhound, Gremelgin, who was out in the forest, to come home.

But the spell must have been too powerful because he smashed our door down!

Mysticallanguage

Raised speaking an ancient magic language called Acarus, I didn’t go to school, only learned to speak English when I was 15.

With magic in my blood, I was destined to become a psychic medium, tarot card reader and spellcaster. I specialise in helping people through very difficult times in their lives. And, as one of the UK’S top

exorcists, I often help people who have been possessed by evil spirits.

One such person was a lady called Alison*, who came to see me in June 2017.

Alison’s eyes were staring vacantly, black veins standing out against the white skin of her face.

One look at her and I knew. A nasty demon called a siva had attached itself to her.

Evilentity

As I touched Alison’s cold hand, I could see the siva, a dark, shadowy mass with no eyes. It was attached to Alison by three fiery ropes. The demon wanted Alison’s soul as well as her body. I knew it had forced her to attempt suicide. ‘You’ve tried to kill yourself three times, haven’t you?’ I asked her gently. Tears streamed down Alison’s cheeks as she nodded helplessly. ‘There’s something attached to you. But don’t worry, I can remove it,’ I told her. ‘Please get rid of it,’ she begged. When the ritual to sever the demon’s attachment to Alison was performed, she felt much better. ‘Thank you,’ she gasped. But the demon was still there in my room. I had to send it back to the dimension known as Zorris, the demonic realm. I took my eyes off it just for a second....

Vicious attack

The demon hit me on the side of the head with a heavy statue of an Egyptian god. Reeling with pain, I sent the demon back to Zorris. It was a tough battle, leaving me with a broken statue – and a big lump on the side of my head! But at least Alison was finally at peace, free to live her life. So many evil entities walk the Earth. I’ve seen lots of cases where they prey on babies and children as they want their innocent souls. People should never use ouija boards unless they’re experts. Otherwise, they will unleash the forces of evil to wreak havoc.

I’ve fought many powerful demons - including, of course, the Devil himself.

But I'm a powerful witch. I'm not scared. I love sending evil demons back to where they belong.
