H appy New Year! Every New Moon is great for wishing on, but an eclipse is even more powerful. And 2019 kicks off with a New Moon eclipse in the sign of Capricorn, so whatever your sign, it’s a super-powerful time for wishing.

This is the perfect time of the year to do a 12-month manifesting plan, especially with the New Moon eclipse. So as soon as you wake up on 6 January, take some time to: 1. Write down all your dreams, wishes and commitments for the coming year. 2. Imagine them all as real – feel the feeling of the wish fulfilled in your body. This is crucial! 3. Make bullets points about the actions you can take to make your dreams reality.

Note that wishing to win the lottery isn’t advised because deep down you know it’s really unlikely (you have a better chance of having identical quadruplets or being struck by lightning than winning the big one!) Far better to wish for a new income stream doing something you love, for example. Also, make sure your list isn’t just wishes. Include some goals and intentions which you can really work towards.

Once you’ve made your list, put it somewhere you can see it. Check in with it throughout the year and hopefully tick things off! To boost your manifesting, pick a card, asking: ‘What do I need to know to make my dreams come true in 2019?’ Close or ‘blur’ your eyes and use your index finger to choose card 1, 2 or 3.

Card 1: The Ace of Coins

This card is a very good omen if whatever you’re manifesting is either to do with money or needs money to fund it. The Ace of Coins is all about new starts connected to finances. Ditto if you’re hoping to manifest a new job. You are absolutely on the right track so keep the faith and keep visualising. If you can believe it, you can achieve it. Card 2: The Hermit

Take some time out to think things through rather than blindly forging ahead with your aims. The Hermit card is about introspection so it may be that you need time out to think things through before you can manifest your dreams. Perhaps you need a better plan, or to examine your motivations, or you need to look for the answers within. A mentor could help you through. Card 3: The World

One thing you need to know to make your dreams come true is that there is great power in savouring what you have. Be happy where you are, even as you reach for something ‘more and better’. This card also comes to you with the message that you can make your dreams come true in 2019. Use your talents and you will see your intentions bearing fruit.
