My body was engulfed in burning flames
Orange flames engulfed my body as I strained at my bonds, trying desperately to get away. The heat was intense. I was being burned alive for being a witch. My attempts to escape were in vain. The pain in my body, especially my feet where the flames were strongest, was overwhelming. Next thing, I passed out.
Professional therapist
I had this past life flashback during a regression under hypnosis with therapist Lorraine Flaherty in August 2018.
After this flashback, which was vivid, Lorraine asked questions about this past life. We discovered that I was a young girl in her teens, my mother was dead, and when my father remarried, my stepmother became jealous of our closeness.
I couldn’t pin down the era, but I knew that my stepmother was responsible for spreading the witchcraft rumours. I was a healer and helped local people, so she twisted the facts and said I was practicing magic in the woods.
I then jumped back in time to my trial – the judges were all men and my father didn’t stand up for me. I felt a sense of utter abandonment.
In this life, I’ve had problems trusting men, apart from my dad, and had a series of disastrous relationships since my 20s.
That’s why I’d gone to see Lorraine. I was hoping past life regression would help me find the root cause of this issue because I wanted to find love and companionship.
Movingforwards
Following the session, a weight was lifted from my shoulders and I’ve been able to heal myself and move on. Three weeks ago, I started dating a lovely man called Chris after meeting him on the internet.
For the first time, I’ve been able to open up to a man and really communicate from my heart. And I trust Chris, which is a first.
The other bonus of experiencing that dreadful past life was that I realise how easy I have it this time round - however bad things may get for us, at least we don’t have to face the prospect of being burnt alive!
