Spontaneous past life memories
Ifa word, smell, face or even a series of colours triggers a past life flashback, this is known as a spontaneous past life memory. This happened to me on a country walk. The arrangement of the nature around me triggered it, and I distinctly heard the words, ‘I was so weary I could have
slept on the back of a hedge pig with hitches.’ I later discovered it was a 17th century phrase that meant, ‘I was so tired I could have slept on top of a hedgehog
that had hiccups.’ I worked out these words had been uttered by my husband in the 1600s, when I’d asked how he’d spent the night on a hard, wooden bench!
