The yellow and orange of Whisker’s aura show he’s very playful and easy-going. He is happy being with you, and his behaviour is not a sign that he’s distressed. In fact, he is showing you affection! Make sure you wash your hands after handling food, as rats have an excellent sense of smell. If he continues to nibble, put him back in his cage. Hopefully, he’ll get the message that this behaviour is not acceptable, even if it is given with love!
