This month

This has been a crazy year so far, but the three eclipses that are happening this summer are here to help. They’re all about making changes – and in particular, the Cancer/capricorn emphasis is great for anyone who’s realised they need to make changes either on the home front or at work as a result of recent challenging events.

The Cancer New Moon eclipse is the ideal time to set some intentions about your private life. What did the 2020 isolation teach you? Are there family relationships which you need to work harder on? Are there situations in your private life which need to shift?

Meanwhile, the Full Moon eclipse in Capricorn is the time to let go of work upsets and dramas, fears about your working life and, indeed, to think about how to move on in your career, if you know your current career path has hit a dead end.

This month, we’re asking the cards – what should be my mantra for summer 2020?

A mantra is a phrase, the purpose of which is to realign you with your best life. Close your eyes and use your index finger to choose card 1, 2 or 3.

Card 1: ‘I AM MORE FULFILLED WHEN THERE IS LESS TO MANAGE AND MAINTAIN.’

What has isolation taught you about life? What do you know about yourself now that you didn’t before? Can you see how a more simple life can be extra manageable and just as fulfilling? The card comes with the message: ‘The more commitments that pile up in your life, the less likely you are to find the time to take everything in’. Heal your inner people-pleaser!

Card 2: ‘CONFLICT REMINDS ME WHEN I NEED MORE SPACE FOR MYSELF.’

If there is one thing being isolated with family or friends in 2020 has taught us, it’s that we all need our own space. Even if you’re the most gregarious and extroverted person, you need a chance to allow your thoughts to process. This card reminds you of this fact. It comes with the message that: ‘As you resolve anger, you are able to find the time you need to be both rested and productive.’
