Good things come in threes: The amazing rejuvenating power of the Beauty Trinity

Feel – and look – young and gorgeous with the help of the Beauty Trinity Did you know?

-

Sometimes we get a bit of a shock when we glance in the mirror – where did those wrinkles and grey hairs come from? We’d all like to look younger and more vibrant, but cosmetic enhancements like Botox or even expensive pills and potions aren’t for everyone. Luckily, there’s a more natural way to look more youthful, and that’s by focusing on the Beauty Trinity – the combination of your soul, health and inner beauty. Pay attention to all three, and your outer self will look radiant and lovely too!

The most important part of the Beauty Trinity is your soul, which provides the foundation for your spiritual life. If you’re unhappy, run down, or simply disconnected with your inner self, it will show in your face and body. As the old saying goes, true beauty comes from within. Take the soul test to discover if you’re nurturing this important aspect of yourself – what do you need to change?

THE SOUL TEST – ASK YOURSELF:

 Do my friendships nurture my soul? Or do some of them make me feel negative?

 Think about a Hollywood movie that inspired people. What’s the movie’s message? Can you take anything from it and incorporate it into your life?

 Do you respect animals and the

environment? What more could you do to help animals and reduce your impact on the environment?

 Do you have dreams? What steps are you taking to make your soul’s dreams become reality?

This soul test can highlight areas of your life that might need work. Write down your answers, and reflect on what you can do to nourish your soul. For example, you can meet like-minded people at a yoga class or tarot group, make a difference by doing voluntary work, and reading a good self-help book can provide useful guidance to making your dreams a reality.

Meditation can make you more beautiful! Start your day with just five minutes of meditation – simply find a quiet place, lie down, still your mind and focus on your breathing. This will reduce your stress, and the effects of this can include fewer wrinkles and brighter skin!

Here are eight common spices and how to use them:

1. CARDAMOM

This warm, aromatic spice is widely used in Indian cuisine. It’s also great in baked goods when used in combination with spices like clove and cinnamon.

Health benefits:

Researchers found that it can help to reduce high blood pressure. Studies in mice show that it may help reduce the activity of certain enzymes that attack cancers, although more research is needed to see whether this applies to humans.

Magical properties:

Cardamom is used as an aphrodisiac in many African and Asian cultures. To charm a prospective lover, chew some cardamom seeds before you talk to him or her – it will inflame their passion!

2. CAYENNE PEPPER

Made from dried and ground red chilli peppers, cayenne pepper adds a sweet heat to soups, braises, and spice mixes.

Health benefits: Used medicinally for thousands of years for its healing properties, cayenne pepper is also useful for weight loss as it boosts the metabolism, helping to burn off calories more quickly. Studies show it can reduce hunger.

Magical properties: Used in magic to repel and reverse negativity, mix it with salt and sprinkle it round your home for psychic protection.
