Yoga is the ultimate self-care activity because it nourishes us emotionall­y, energetica­lly, mentally and physically. It can help you in less than 60 seconds and the greatest thing is, it can deliver whatever you need in the moment. Sometimes we need to focus, other times to let go, sometimes we need a pep, other times we need to quieten the mind. There is yoga for every intention, suitable for everybody. Yoga will also help you breathe better and when you breathe better, you feel better.

Add these poses to your self-care toolkit. You don’t have to spend long on each one – just take a deep breath in, strike a pose, and release. Do these each day if you can, and whenever you feel stressed, pick a pose – it will help you release your tension.
