My mum recently had breast cancer and I was terrified that she’d die. My dad passed away when I was just nine, and as an only child, I was scared of being left all on my own. When she went in for surgery, I hardly slept for fear that she wouldn’t wake up from the operation. I must have eventually drifted off though, because I remember suddenly waking up to see a very bright glowing ‘something’ hovering at the foot of my bed! As I watched, it slowly drifted up towards my head. I wasn’t scared at all, I felt warm, comforted and a bit teary! The colour was pulsating very slowly, going from white to gold, and the most beautiful shade of pink. When it reached my head, it dropped in a flash, covering my face and then flowing all through my body. As it faded away, I sobbed with tears of sheer joy. I believe I was visited by an angel, to reassure me about Mum. She is fully recovered and in remission now, and I am so grateful.
