HO’OPONOPONO
This is the ancient Hawaiian practice of forgiveness. Ho’oponopono is a mantra or prayer that simply means, ‘I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.’ If repeated regularly it can alter the way you think. It is used for reconciliation and peace, and is gaining a lot of interest in the West as New Age thinkers promote this as a way of rising above threatening situations that may require forgiveness. You can try it yourself – simply say the words out loud or in your head. It doesn’t matter whether you’re addressing them to someone specific or just speaking the words as a mantra, they are just as effective either way as they tap into universal energy and the willingness of the universe to forgive and love. For the best results, set aside a few minutes each day to repeat this prayer.
