Some believe Black-eyed Children are an American urban legend that’s been circulating since 1996, when a Texan reporter called Brian Bethel wrote about two such encounters – but in fact, Black-eyed Children have been spotted in Cannock Chase since the 1980s, when a spate of sightings of a ghost girl with black pupils sparked nationwide media interest. In America, the Black-eyed Ghosts are said to knock on doors late at night – but in Cannock, they’ve been spotted in daylight, too!
