BATHROOM BLISS

The bathroom is the most ‘watery’ room in the house, and water symbolises emotions. To enable the feelings of everyone in the household to be expressed and heard, place in here a picture or statue of the Virgin Mary, with her baby. Make sure she is dressed in blue, to link with the sea, and never forget that Mary, in times long gone, was the Goddess Isis, the greatest goddess-form there has ever been, and a wonderful force for feminine nurturing and transformative power.

Do you have a secret sadness, an anxiety that haunts you, or doubts that bother you? Light a blue candle in front of Our Lady, or burn a joss stick of frankincense and myrrh, and, while you bathe or shower, ask the Lady to wash away your sorrows in the flowing waters.
