This versatile foodstuff is perfect for every meal from quick lunches to dinner parties!

-

Noodles are eaten all round the world, but nowhere more so than in Asia, where they’re the star ingredient in a host of iconic dishes, from Vietnamese pho to Thailand’s pad thai to Japanese ramen. They come in all shapes and sizes, from fat udon noodles to thin rice vermicelli, but they’ve one thing in common – they’re delicious!

In China, noodles are a symbol of longevity – it’s considered bad luck to cut a strand, as this symbolises a life being cut short. Noodle dishes are as much a part of any birthday party as birthday cakes are in the West.

And the good news for noodle lovers is that they’re healthy – or can be, anyway! Here, we showcase two gorgeous recipes from The Noodle Cook Book by Damien King Lee.

Whether you’re cooking for a posh dinner or just fancy making something a bit different for lunch, we’ve got you covered!
