NESSIE’S MATE
Following the discovery of a huge skeleton on a Scottish beach, there’s been speculation that it could belong to a relative of the Loch Ness Monster! The Daily Star reports that the woman found the giant skeletal tail on a remote beach on the island of South Uist, and her sister, Edinburgh-based Polly Burns, took the photo to Twitter for answers.
The pic received over 17,000 likes and 1,100 comments, with several suggesting it could be a cousin of Nessie – or even the Kraken!
However, Loch Ness is 177 miles from South
Uist – and as a sperm whale was stranded in the area the previous year, it’s felt most likely that this is the animal it belonged to.
We do prefer the Kraken idea though!
