USE THE MOON!

-

Make your wishes and set your intentions at the New Moon, and at the Full Moon, surrender everything to the Universe. This two-step formula can create miracles in your life. Try it! Beating the midsummer blues

As an astrologer and moonologer, at the end of 2020, I was frequently asked whether 2021 was going to be better. Everyone was obviously hoping that we would leave the year of the pandemic behind as soon as the new year clicked over. Sadly, I knew this was very unlikely to be the case. Here we are halfway through 2021 and we are all still hoping, right? So does summer 2021 hold some kind of magical elixir to make everything better? Well, yes and no!

ON THE PLUS SIDE…

We get three New Moons this summer and one is a New Moon eclipse. This is great news, because eclipses are all about restarts. And this one is in the sign of Gemini, the sign of the mind. Therefore it’s going to be just that little bit easier for us all to adjust our mindsets and to make a conscious decision to look on the bright side, no matter what is going on.

ON THE SLIGHTLY LESS POSITIVE SIDE…

There’s still a lot of jarring astrological energy around, so even though we might feel better and find it easier to focus on the good in our lives, it appears we are still very much in an aftershock and the aftermath of the pandemic.

WHAT TO DO? The number one thing to do this midsummer is to tune into the three New Moons (especially the New Moon eclipse on June 10) with gratitude rituals. Here’s how:

z Find yourself 15 to 20 minutes.

z If you can find some fresh air, get out in it. Let the sunshine warm your shoulders, and breathe in fresh air.

z Allow the good feelings of summer to soak into you.

z Raise your arms up

to the sky and say, ‘Thank you Universe, thank you!’

Spend a moment feeling grateful for all that is good in your life.

Decide here and now to focus on the good in your life, not on what is missing or not working.
