ABOUT MR LEE

Damien King Lee was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2014, and realised that he’d either have to stop eating his beloved noodles or develop a ‘no nasties’ approach to traditional dishes. As a result, he launched healthy noodle brand Mr Lee’s Pure Foods Co in 2016, as well as opening Mr Lee’s Noodles in Bournemouth. King Lee, attracted guests including Hollywood star Wesley Snipes. The Noodle Cookbook is a collection of healthy versions of traditional dishes that have had the ‘Mr Lee makeover.’ Sadly, Mr Lee died earlier this year, aged 54.
