11. Glasgow Necropolis, Glasgow

This mega-cemetery stands adjacent to Glasgow Cathedral and was created in the 19th century, influenced by the creation of Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. There are around 50,000 people buried in the Necropolis, but only a small percentage have gravestones – and even fewer have names. It’s said to be home to a vampire who devoured two boys!
