Successful movie franchise, The Terminator, was actually spawned by a nightmare.
Its creator, James Cameron, was ill in bed with a fever and had a vision of the now-iconic metal figure emerging from fire. That striking image from James’ dream helped to launch his career in Hollywood. His first movie, 1984’s The Terminator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the cyborg assassin, and co-starring Linda Hamilton as target Sarah Connor, went on to take over $70 million at the box office!
