Seeds of happiness
Research suggests that social media can make us feel discontented with our lives, especially when we start comparing ourselves to friends who look like they’re doing really well. The average user spends a minimum of 50 mins a day on Facebook and Instagram – and we’re surprised it’s that low! It’s still more time than the average person spends doing sport, or socialising, though– so switch off! Or if you can’t do that, then cut down. One study suggests that a week off Facebook gives a positive boost to wellbeing, so why not give that a go? You’ll feel better for it!
