I’m a musician and I had a dream where I was playing a big concert and all my musical equipment started going wrong! It was collapsing, or falling over, or not doing what it was supposed to be doing when I played it. It was awful, really terrifying. What does it mean? Hatchii Watanabe, 42, Tokyo

Well, it’s not hard to work out what might be going on in your subconscious, is it? While this could be a direct representation of your understandable fear of things going wrong when you’re on stage, it’s also about your fear of failing more generally, too.
