Last night I had one of those ‘where

the f*** did that come from’ dreams! Russia had cut off our water and electric supply and I’d time-travelled back to the 80s. I was shacked up in a club back-room with a group of old friends, but despite all this, and the inevitable death by dehydration that awaited me, I spent a large portion of this post-apocalyptic nightmare really worried about my newlypermed hair clashing with my leopard print top! I drank very strong whisky before bed so maybe that’s why! Ella Charlesworth, 30, London

Practically speaking, yes, that strong bedtime tipple would have caused you some dehydration as you slept, which could explain that aspect of your dream. It could also have reminded your subconscious of how you used to feel when you went out drinking with those old friends of yours too, hence them appearing in your dream-clubbing landscape!
