TURNING JAPANESE

If you spot someone with two or three wrinkles around the bottom of their neck, beware - they might just be a nukekubi. A petrifying Japanese spirit which feeds on human flesh, flflflflflesh, at night the nukekubi’s head leaves its body and flies flflies away, looking for someone to kill. On spotting its victim, the nukekubi’s detached head lets out a scream, which paralyses its unfortunate prey. Then it feasts on the poor person’s still-warm body. There’s only way to kill a nukekubi - you have to destroy its body as it lies there without a head as this kills the head as well. Phew!
