Practical magic

The sacred cup or goblet is part of the witch’s toolkit and used to adorn altars. This ceremonial vessel, often associated with the Holy Grail, relates to feminine energy and the divine Goddess. The empty cup, which represents the womb, is filled with liquid - this could be wine or something non- alcoholic depending on your preference. After a spell has been performed, or during a ritual, the cup is raised and a sip taken as a way of sealing the magical rite. One of the simplest ways to use it is to say your spell, then make a toast to the Goddess and give thanks for her blessings!
