Coventina is the Celtic goddess of springs, wells and rivers. Also known as the ‘ goddess of featherless flying creatures,’ this powerful deity could travel between worlds and was also associated with fertility. The Ancients believed that drinking or bathing in her waters could heal them of any ailment and would throw coins and other offerings into wells dedicated to her.
