Head tension

Chat - - Health -

Q I often get headaches that my GP has described as tension headaches. What can I do? Patti, 38 A This is the most common form of headache and is probably caused by muscle tension in your neck and scalp.

Anxiety can be a trigger, and relaxation exercises can help. Painkillers might not work too well, but drugs such as antidepressants – which have muscle-relaxing properties – can help.
