Bingo winners

With my win – I was off to visit my parents…

After reading bingo winners’ stories in Chat, I decided to give the site a go.

So, I signed up to Chat Mag Bingo and loved it!

My favourite bingo rooms are Take Me Out, Round the Clock and Game Show.

On 7 June last year, I was playing Round the Clock, a 75-ball bingo game. I’d spent £2 on 20 tickets with a great buy-two, get-one-free offer.

My partner Matthew, 39, was making dinner.

I watched as the balls were called… then one of my bingo cards had one number to go!

I gasped as my last number popped out.

I’d won the progressive jackpot – £1,251!

I jumped about in excitement.

‘What’s going on?’ Matthew called out.

At first he thought I was winding him up. But soon, he was celebrating, too.

I rang my daughter to tell her and she was thrilled.

I gave her some money and I also bought the grandkids a trampoline.

But there was one thing I knew I really had to do next.

My parents had moved to Scotland, and it was a rarity if we visited and they were getting too old to travel. So I picked up the phone… ‘Mum, Dad, we’re coming to see you!’ I cried happily.

In July, we did the marathon six-hour drive from Coventry to Scotland.

But it was worth it, to see their faces when we arrived!

They’re quite elderly and frail now, so every moment with them is really precious.

I took them out for dinner – three courses and wine to celebrate. We were so happy. We stayed there for a week and, unlike the normal Scottish climate, the weather was lovely. It really is such a beautiful place.

With a bit of money left, we’re planning our next trip.

I’m not a big fan of flying, but I’d love a bit of warmth.

So we’re hoping for a quick flight to Majorca.

I can’t wait to relax by the pool with a cocktail.

a cruise I’d always and wanted see the sights to go on in ‘Let’s European do it!’ countries. I said to Salim. So we booked a mini cruise and we’ll visit lots of beautiful countries including France, Spain, Greece and Italy.

I can’t wait to sit on deck and spend some quality time with Salim – what could be better? My advice to new players is just have fun. If I can be a big winner, then you could be, too. And maybe go on the holiday of a lifetime as well!
