Bingo winner

It’s been celebrations all round with my bumper £3,611 win…

- By Hannah Coniff, 35, from Westgate-on-sea

I’ve always been really close to my mother-in-law. Some of my friends and family joke that I spend more time with Garnette, 65, than do with my husband! But when I met Wayne, 30, both of my parents had passed away and Garnette became the motherly figure in my life – and a best friend. Garnette introduced me to bingo – we’d go to bingo halls together after I finished a hard day at work in my job as a quantity surveyor.

Although we didn’t win lots, we had such a laugh.

So that’s why, when we joined Chat Mag Bingo in March 2016, we loved every minute.

‘What shall we play tonight?’ we’d ask each other excitedly.

Ordering a takeaway, we’d chill in the living room and log on to play bingo.

My fave is Bingo Lounge, a 75-ball bingo game, but I do play other games as well.

One of the greatest things about the site is that you can budget what you spend.

Sometimes, we just play a couple of quid or a fiver and have a lot of fun on games for as little as 1p a ticket.

Last August, Garnette and I were tucking into a Chinese takeaway while playing bingo.

Spending £1 on 10 10p tickets, we watched the numbers roll in, as we chatted away about everything.

‘Hannah, all you need is a six!’ Garnette suddenly gasped, as she looked at my screen.

Before we knew it, the six had come rolling out. We bounced around the room! Wayne, who’d been watching TV, looked shocked. ‘What’s up?’ he asked. ‘She’s won!’ Garnette cried. And I really had. Looking at my balance, it had gone up by £1,558!

Even better, we were going on holiday three days later, so the money could spoil us.

So, just days later, we were at the airport, ready for our Spanish getaway. Of course, while we were away, we had a few extra cocktails

and desserts courtesy of the brilliant bingo win.

‘Thanks so much, Chat Mag Bingo,’ we’d say, clinking our glasses together.

When we got back, we were feeling refreshed and had a lovely summer glow.

But, of course, it didn’t take long for the holiday to be just a distant memory.

Then, a month later, Garnette and I were having a night in with a bit of bingo and TV.

Yet again, I didn’t want to spend too much money, so I paid £2 for 20 10p tickets.

As always, we were busy chatting away as the numbers were dabbed off on the cards.

‘I can’t believe it!’ I squealed to her, delightedly.

‘No, surely not again?’ Garnette laughed. I’d won £2,053. I couldn’t believe it! It had only been a month since my first jackpot win.

I was happy and surprised to win a big jackpot again,

We spent some money over Christmas, but we’ve saved a bit, hoping to book another holiday later this year.

All I can say is a big thank you to Chat Mag Bingo – we can’t wait for our holiday to toast my second big win!
