What a nerve!
Q I get burning, tingling and numbness over the front of my thigh. My GP thinks it’s a trapped nerve. Is there a cure? Lydia, Tottenham
ASounds like meralgia paraesthetica. A nerve has become squeezed under the ligament in your groin. Often it gets better on its own, especially if you avoid tight clothing. But sometimes it needs an injection, or surgery to free the nerve.
