Bitter ex spells trouble

Chat - - Home -

QMy partner’s exwife and mother to his kids is jealous and bitter. She causes trouble whenever she can, and slags me off. He ignores her but I think he should stand up for us. It causes many arguments.

I dread him picking up and dropping off the kids. I want him to have as little to do with her as possible. Am I being out of order? Melanie, 32

AWell, flower, I get the reason you’re annoyed. But rather than him standing up for you – which won’t solve her jealousy – you need to set up a meeting with the three of you around the kitchen table.

You don’t have to be pals, but be civil for the children’s sake.

Put your dummies back in, and sort out your differences!
