Amajor airline raised a few eyebrows when it spelt its name wrong on the side of one of its own planes.
For some unknown reason, Cathay Pacific became ‘Cathay Paciic’.
The Hong Kong carrier has since sent the shamed aircraft back to the shop for a respray.
Many have applauded the company, which flies to 53 destinations, for laughing off the embarrassing blunder.
But an engineer for Haeco, the airline’s sister company, has questioned the accidental mistake, claiming that the spacing was a little bit too perfect for a mishap.
