We all have favourite me-time moments, and one of mine is settling down to a spot of bingo. And that’s exactly how my evening began in February 2018 after I finished some chores and cooked tea for my daughter Ellie, 25 and me. ‘It’s bingo time!’ I chirped, perching in front of my computer in the lounge. ‘You love your bingo, don’t you?’ Ellie laughed from across the room. Ever since signing up in September 2006, I’d loved the chatrooms s and the th comfort of playing bingo in my own home. So, as I logged into my account that Sunday night, I decided to play my bingo tickets for Play Off Palace. I’d won some free ones playing Session Bingo in the week, and the Play Off Palace Weekly Game was about to start at 9.15pm. So now was as good a time as any to be online as I had to grab my tickets before the game started. I clicked and claimed my free tickets and, before long, the game started. One by one, the balls were called and popped out. A few minutes later, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. A large banner saying I’d just won! ‘Ellie!’ I screamed, jumping to my feet. ‘Come here!’ She got up from the sofa and walked towards the computer. ‘What is it, Mum?’ she asked, puzzled. ‘I think I’ve just won!’ I replied, beaming. ‘Are you joking?’ She said, stunned. ‘Let me have a look…’ She grinned as she realised I was right, after all! I’d scooped a cool £1,000. And it

didn’t take me long to figure out how to spend my winnings.

My sister Sandra lived in Florida, and I regularly flew out to see her. I loved my trips over there. There was always so much to see and do, plus the weather was amazing!

I already had a flight booked for a trip to see her in two months’ time, and now I would add some extra treats to the holiday.

Soon, I was excitedly boarding the plane. And 10 hours later, I touched down in the blazing heat and humidity, excited to catch up with my sis.

While I was out there, it was wonderful to enjoy some of my win. Away for two weeks, I had such a great time!

I treated my sister to meals out, and soaked up every moment of quality time with my family.

When I came home, I spent the rest of my win on giving the living room a mini makeover.

It had been on my list of things to do, but I’d never seemed to find time for it.

But now, invigorated from my holiday it was time to pull my socks up and get on with it.

I headed straight to the shops, bought some new cushions and accessories for the room.

Then I got the rollers out and painted the walls.

‘The living room looks great, Mum!’ Ellie said when it was all finished.

‘It does, doesn’t it?’ I smiled.

The win was such a surprise, and enjoying it both at home and away has been brilliant.

Recently, I’ve been trying the Chat Mag Bingo app on my phone.

The games are just as easy to play, and you can still chat and keep up with all the bingo banter.

My favourite game is Session Bingo, but I also like to play Bingo Lounge and Game Show too.

I’d definitely recommend Chat Mag Bingo.

It’s a lot of fun, the players are great, and you never know what’s going to happen pp next! t!

Now, I’d add some extra treats to my holiday
