Re­search led by Brown Univer­sity found hav­ing at least four cups of cof­fee a day could slash the risk of de­vel­op­ing rosacea, which causes the skin to flare up and red­den, by 20%. Cof­fee has an­ti­in­flam­ma­tory prop­er­ties and may re­duce red­ness, by caus­ing blood ves­sels to nar­row.
