A happy £2,027 JACKPOT WINNER!

My £2,027 win was a family treat all round! I couldn’t wait to spoil them

- Sylvia Whitton, 66, Arbroath

One evening in May 2018, I was sitting on the sofa with my laptop, and I logged on to Chat Mag Bingo. I’d signed up back in July 2014, after friends told me I could enjoy playing from the comfort of my own home.

I used to like going to my local bingo hall, but playing online was as much fun, and there was a great community of players. It meant that I could stay at home with my husband Allan, 67, and play at a time convenient that was me and still enjoy a chat.

Saying hello to a couple of familiar names I’d become friendly with in the chatroom, I settled in, with Allan close by.

I’d had a few small wins in the past here and there, but not hit a big jackpot.

That evening, I decided to play Tiki 90-ball Bingo. A ticket for my game was only 1p, so I bought 50, and settled in to watch the balls pop out.

One by one, they were dabbed off my cards.

I waited, needed just two more to get a Full House…

I watched wide-eyed, as both appeared on the screen. Then…

Jackpot!

‘Allan!’ I screamed. ‘You OK?’ he asked, startled. ‘I’ve won the jackpot!’ I cried. ‘A whopping £2,027!’

While he sat there beaming, I picked up my phone and dialled a number.

There was one more person I had to tell there and then – my daughter Ashley, 39.

Even though she made fun of me for my love of bingo, I knew she’d be happy.

So, when I told her, we had a scream and a giggle.

The timing was perfect. We’d already booked a family holiday to Paris in July, to celebrate Ashley’s 40th. I added some of

my win to

our pot of spending money, ready for the trip. And I also treated my son Allan, 38, and the grandkids on our travels.

Before we left, I bought some pretty tops and dresses.

But it was when we got to Paris that the fun really began. I couldn’t wait to share my win and spoil my family with treats and gifts.

We spent a fortnight at two theme parks. Just spending that quality time together, seeing their beaming faces every morning, queuing up for the rides, eating out… bliss.

Of course, I couldn’t resist buying souvenirs of our special family holiday. My loved ones were thrilled.

It was so heart-warming.

And after all that, I still had some of my win left, so Allan and I booked an extra weekend for the two of us in Aberdeen in August.

I still play bingo. I love the fun of the games, along with the buzz in the chatrooms.

All together, it makes Chat Mag Bingo a brilliant site!
