Bingo winners
I spent my win on a magnifico Italian holiday and family celebration… Janice Brion, 45, Middlesbrough
Gossiping over coffee I loved my new office as the staff were friendly and I’d fitted in easily.
I started going to lunch and bingo halls with one new pal and she told me about Chat Mag Bingo which she said was such good fun So I signed up in March 2006. I tried most of the games, and loved the variety.
After that I played for fun every now and then.
And while it’s nice to have had a few small wins over the years... ‘it’s such a good laugh,’ me and my workmate agreed.
Then one day at the end of last July, I was working my way through my to-do list.
Washing-up – check. Ironing – done. Dinner – finished… The list was complete! Opening my laptop I decided t to log on to Chat Mag Bingo.
I chose the Sapphire 90-ball bingo room and the tickets were only 25p.
I bought a bunch of tickets and was ready to join the 9pm Super Link Game where the Full House was £1,500.
Numbers started popping out and were dabbed off one by one.
Soon I had two complete lines. And won just over £400.
The last set of numbers passed in a blur but one by one mine flew in and then… ‘I’ve won!’ I squealed. My screen was flooded with congratulations from players.
It was often me sending the congrats messages, and now I was on the receiving end.
I called my husband. He worked away a lot but I knew he’d want to hear the news.
‘Ooh we can put some towards Italy,’ he suggested.
We were going to Italy last year to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary.
It was a trip that we’d already organised, but the money helped us pay for some lovely extras
So, during our time in Italy, we raised a glass to my awesome win.
We really were living la dolce vita – which means the sweet life!
