In December 2007, Corinne Caspar and Thierry Beille were both convicted of murder.
‘We are innocent!’ screamed Caspar as she was pulled away by two guards.
But Judge Alda Casimiro didn’t agree.
‘There is no doubt that the accused committed, together, a crime of premeditated homicide,’ he said.
Casimiro said the pair had acted in cold blood and there was no evidence of an attempted rape.
They were each sentenced to 24 years in prison.
