My £1,000 Full House

Settling down on the sofa with a cup of coffee in my hand, I reached for my laptop. It was Christmas Eve last year and after a busy day spent lastminute Christmas shopping, I finally had a moment to myself.

‘Time to play some bingo!’ I said to my husband Mark, 54.

You see, relaxing with a game of online bingo is one

of my favourite pastimes.

Ever since joining Chat Mag Bingo in November 2017, I’ve been a huge fan.

As I logged in, I decided to play a linked game of Sapphire Bingo – my favourite.

It’s so easy and fun to play, and I love chatting to other players in the chat rooms too.

Tickets were 10p, and I bought 12 for the game at 8.30pm.

Then, I sat back, and watched the numbers being called.

One by one, my numbers were dabbed off.

Exciting.

Then, suddenly, a message flashed up on my screen.

Congratulations, you are a winner!

I couldn’t believe it. ‘Look, Mark, I’ve won!’

I cried, in disbelief.

And sure enough, I’d won the £1,000 Full House!

‘What a thing to happen on Christmas Eve!’ Mark beamed.

Christmas was such a happy time in our house – and this would add to the celebrations!

As I broke the good news to my grown-up children, they couldn’t believe it either.

‘That’s amazing, Mum! What are you going to do with the money?’ my eldest, Jade, 29, asked excitedly over the phone. That was a good question… Once Christmas was over, Mark and I discussed what we wanted to do with the £1,000.

We decided to put some money towards a new laptop, and clothes for me and the grandchildren.

But best of all, we booked a trip to Gran Canaria with my brother Andre, 64, and his partner for September.

Looking back to the timing of my win, it certainly sent us in to the New Year with a bang!

And I’ll definitely be raising a toast to Chat Mag Bingo from my Lilo this summer.
