‘Just as shocked’

Mason, 54, says, ‘When Sarah expressed interest in being in a relationship with me, I was just as shocked as anybody. ‘But, when you meet someone and end up talking for three hours effortlessly, that’s kind of unusual and I think she felt that way, too. ‘Obviously we are lovers but we’re also good friends. We really enjoy being around each other and make each other laugh.

‘It doesn’t matter how old she is, or where is she’s from or anything else.’
