Honey BBQ sesame

These sweet and sticky wings, swim­ming in sauce, are ex­tra de­li­cious!

SERVES 8 PREP 10 MINS COOK 12 MINS

50ml honey bar­be­cue sauce 50ml Frank’s RedHot® Orig­i­nal Cayenne Pep­per Sauce 50ml apri­cot jam

15ml sesame oil

1.25kg chicken wings, split and tips dis­carded Toasted sesame seeds and sliced spring onions to gar­nish 1 Com­bine the sauces, jam and sesame oil. Set aside. 2 Deep-fry the wings at 190C for 10 mins or un­til cooked and crispy. Drain. Al­ter­na­tively, bake for 20 min at 260C/Gas 10 un­til fully cooked and crispy, turn­ing half­way, or grill on a medium heat for 20 to 25 mins, turn­ing of­ten. 3 Once cooked, toss the hot wings in the jam mix­ture. Place on a plat­ter and sprin­kle with sesame seeds and spring onions.
