Meet my phantom friends
People called me strange – now I’m a psychic to the stars
It dawned on me that no-one could hear or see what I could
Taking a slow, deep breath and tuning my mind, I summoned my guardian angel.
And, just like that, she appeared – a shimmering, human female form with fluttering wings.
Next, I called for the spirit guides of the 50 people sitting around me in my rented yoga studio.
It was 2019, and I was hosting one of my angel communication workshops.
Each of my clients had come to me because they wanted to develop their own psychic intuition.
‘Give us a sign you are here with us,’ we all chant.
My students each ask their angel to show them some personallychosen sign, such as a feather, over the course of the next week.
It’s all in a day’s work for me.
I was only 7 years old when I first realised that I had a unique gift.
Angels would float down beside me and spirits would show themselves as rays of light.
I wasn’t frightened, I just assumed that everyone could see them!
‘Who are you talking to?’ my cousins would frown to me as I seemingly had a conversation with thin air. ‘Angels and spirits,’ I’d simply shrug. I was stunned when it finally dawned on me no-one could hear or see what I could.
The ghosts and angels would tell me things that were going to happen in the future. And guide me on how to live my life.
They’d warn me of dangers and advise me which path I should take.
Some grown ups condemned my gift.
‘You’ve got the devil in you!’ they’d blast.
It never felt evil to me, but I grew up thinking that I was strange.
Then, in my teens, I began to realise I could use my powers to help school friends. ‘Does
so-and-so like me?’ they’d ask. Or, ‘Is my boyfriend going to dump me?’
And sometimes they’d want to speak to a grandparent or other relative who had died. I was happy to help. By the age of 19, I was working professionally as a psychic reader. I offered tarot sessions and readings to people at a personal crossroad in life. And I connected individuals to their own spirit guides. I also started hosting workshops teaching people how to reawaken their own psychic gift.
As word spread about my gift, celebrities started getting in touch and seeking my services.
In 2017, I did a reading for the Big Brother star Lisa Appleton.
‘You’re going to LA and I can see you with a scarf around your neck in a convertible car,’ I told her.
A few months later, Lisa was invited to Los Angeles for a TV show.
While she was there, she sent me a message, saying that she was being driven around in a convertible car – with a scarf on!
Then, in 2018, I was invited on ITV’s The Real Housewives of Cheshire to provide guidance to some of the cast.
I’ve also helped Love Island’s Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, and TV and radio presenter Lizzy Cundy, too.
The pandemic meant that I had to move to online workshops and readings.
But nothing will stop me from sharing my gift.
I grew up believing that I was strange girl.
But now I know that, while I may be different, I’m incredibly blessed.
