Labelled a bad mum – and there are two big reasons why

Our new weekly showcase of the wonderful world that is Truly. This issue, Allegra Cole tells us why there’s far more to her than just glamour modelling…

-

Age is just a number. And so is your bra size. At least, according to Allegra Cole, a 50-year-old mum-of-five who first made headlines for her enormous, enhanced 34MM bust.

But she is now proving they’re just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her talents.

She says, ‘More opportunities have been brought to me because of my boobs. But I’m more than just a sexual icon.’

The mum – who has two girls aged 21 and 5, and three boys aged 18, 12 and 9 – launched a crowdfunding service last year for women who were seeking breast augmentations.

And she believes that her age only helps her become more successful.

‘I think every year that I get older – or chronologically older – I let go of a lot of things and become more free in my mind,’ she explains. She now plans to release her debut

album, as well as launch her own social-media app.

Allegra says, ‘All my current business ventures are so exciting.

‘In the beginning of my public image I didn’t always show my music, but it’s always been a part of me, since I was the age of 1.

‘So I’ve really started to turn my brand to focusing on my music a little bit more.

‘I love it. Music brings me so much joy.

‘I love the way it makes me feel, I love that whole collaborative musical, in-the-studio feeling.’

And Allegra’s app will allow people to connect, and donate to, women needing help funding plastic surgery.

She hopes those women will also be able to connect with doctors via her forum.

‘It’s a plastic surgery, OnlyFans meets Facebook, meets GoFundMe, meets Match.com,’ she says.

But people haven’t always been too complimentary toward the ambitious glamour model.

Allegra goes on, ‘People have misconceptions about me and my appearance. They believe, number one, that I’m shallow, that I don’t have any goals, that I don’t have any substance, that I’m not smart, or that I’m really selfish and I only care what I look like.

‘All those things couldn’t be more wrong.

‘I’m not a diva. I’m the everyday woman with big boobs.

‘I’m willing to work, to put myself out there.’

And her husband and children have supported her all the way. ‘You know, they’re good kids,’ says Allegra.

‘People criticise my parenting skills all the time because of the way I look.

‘All those negative things – I only care about what I look like, I don’t spend any money, or time, or energy on my children – and nothing could be further from the truth.

‘As long as my husband and children feel like

I’m doing a great job, then I’m satisfied.’

Now, she’s hoping to inspire women of any age to embrace their true selves.

Allegra also offers makeovers to help other women feel more confident and sexy.

But, despite aiming high in the business and music world, she’ll never say goodbye to her sexy image.

‘These big boobs got me places. How long will I continue glamour modelling? As long as I’m alive! I’ll keep doing it as long as I’m having fun,’ she says.
