Why won’t he settle down?

-

Q

Our 30-year-old daughter has been happily married for 10 years now. But our 37-year-old son just drifts from one relationship to another.

He’ll introduce a girlfriend to us as the love of his life, and a few months later, it’s all over.

My husband and I have been married for 40 years. It’s upsetting that only one of our children has followed our example.

Am I right to be concerned? Florrie, 68

A

As a mum of two you must have clocked by now that our kids do their own things. So don’t judge your son by your daughter’s life choices.

He’s not married off yet, but so what?

At 37 there’s still plenty of time for your lad to meet the right woman and make it official, if that’s what he wants.

There are so many things to worry about in life and this isn’t one of them, petal.
