WHEN TO GET CHECKED
As part of its Help Us Help You campaign, the NHS is urging people with persistent tummy troubles to seek help, as they could be signs of cancer. Around 74% of people wouldn’t even tell a friend or family about these symptoms, but it’s so important to speak up. If you have experienced discomfort or diarrhoea for over three weeks, or had blood in your urine even once, speak to your GP. For more information, visit nhs.uk.
