Hubby never helps

QI’ve been diagnosed with a chronic illness. I’m still waiting to see how it will affect my daily life and am on a lot of medication.

I try to keep active, but after a long day at work, I’m tired.

My hubby is frustrated, and after another complaint from him, I snapped. Told him he needed to help around the house. We’ve had so many conversations about it, but nothing seems to get through... Terry, 27

Many of us work hard and feel shattered at the end of the day. But having a chronic illness is a different matter!

Your other half needs to understand that you need support and help. And if he can’t provide that when you’re having a rough time, what’s the point in even being married?
